![]() Westfield FisheryWestfield carp fishery is a mature 3 acre gravel pit in the quiet surroundings of Medmenham, just outside Marlow in Bucks. It boasts a good head of carp with the current lake record being a 33lb 6oz Mirror named Warty. Larger fish have been reported but no claims for the record have been forthcoming. There are some original stock fish reaching ages of 25 years with a few crucian carp and tench for those that wish to seek them out.
For the hardened winter angler, there are also a number of double figure pike present. The lake is restricted to a maximum of 8 anglers fishing 2 rods each and booking in advance is essential as no tickets are sold on the bank, details on how to buy tickets are below. Every swim has a feature, consisting of gravel bars, overhanging trees, lilies, silt patches or weed beds and can be reached by car in order to off load. The venue is very secure, set well back from the main road and gated with a combination coded padlock. This is supplemented with regular visits by our friendly and knowledgeable bailiff.
